Ed Hickey

Edward Hickey, Jr., CRPS®

Ed Hickey has more than 25 years of experience in retirement planning and asset management. He serves a broad range of client needs from financial planning and wealth management for individuals and families, to retirement plan consulting for businesses and corporations seeking experienced and knowledgeable advice in a rapidly changing regulatory environment.

Ed is committed to providing clients with independent advice, innovative strategies, and experienced guidance across all their financial needs. Ed is a member of the LPL Financial Chairman’s Club. This distinction is based on a ranking of all registered advisors supported by LPL Financial based on total revenue and is awarded to less than ten percent of the firm’s approximately 16,200 advisors nationwide. He was recognized as a select Five Star Wealth Manager*, as periodically published in New Hampshire Magazine, for eleven consecutive years, from 2012-2022, and is an active member of the Financial Services Institute (FSI).

Ed is a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist** (CRPS®). CRPS® designees can provide an understanding of how to establish an efficient retirement plan and help ensure and promote compliance with plan rules. A CRPS® designee can help Plan Sponsors evaluate the financial status of a business and design an appropriate plan for employees. Ed can provide the knowledgeable advice needed on issues such as qualified plans, the eligibility, and deductibility of IRA contributions, profit sharing plans, stock bonus plans, 401(k) plans, distribution planning and much more. He can also help explain the details of establishing investment policy and objectives as well as the termination of a plan.

Ed holds the Series 7, 24, 31 and 51 securities registrations with LPL Financial and a Series 66, held with LPL and Eagle Point Investment Advisors. He also holds a State of New Hampshire Life, Accident & Health Insurance license. Ed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bentley College.

He and his wife Suzie reside in Hooksett, NH with their three sons. Ed enjoys family time, fishing, water sports, snow skiing, and coaching his sons’ sports teams. He is very active in Hooksett and the surrounding community. Ed was named the 2018 Hooksett Adult Volunteer of the Year by the Kiwanis International organization. Ed is a former board member of the Hooksett Youth Athletic Association and Hampshire Controls Corporation and is a current board member of his homeowner’s association. He coached soccer, flag football, and basketball for sixteen years and currently he serves as the referee coordinator for HYAA soccer. Ed is also active in the Boy Scouts of America.
